MicroplaneMicroplane started out in 1990 with the invention of the rasp, a woodworking tool. In 1994 Lorraine Lee a homemaker out of desperation picked up a tool her husband brought home from the hardware store and used it to zest an orange for her cake. After that day, Microplane has earned a permanent spot in the kitchen.
